How Do The Near Sighted Play A Contact Sport.?

I wear glasses but am wanting to get into a contact sport. One in which I may be getting hit directly in the eye. Do they make special contacts for such people or is corrective surgery the only option?

Corrective surgery is a good option, Because getting hit in the eye could cause problems with sweat and blood getting into the eye, it could wash out lenses.
